Below are general policies + FAQs. 

Policies

Reservations + Scheduling

  • Your scheduled appointment time is reserved just for you.
  • Easily book your appointment by sending a message or email with preferred days and times.
  • Reservations and events may require prepayment to guarantee your booking. 
  • If you need to cancel a session or change the time, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time.  You may contact me via email or phone call to cancel or change your appointment. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, you are subject to paying the full fee of the session.
  • Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. 
  • Your service begins at the time scheduled. 
  • A confirmation email and and text message reminder is sent 24-36 hours before your appointment time.

Coronavirus

  • Due to COVID-19, I am seeing most clients virtually and happy to arrange sound baths and one-on-one sessions on a case-by-case basis.
  •  If your appointment is in person and you have symptoms of COVID-19, or any cold or flu virus, please call me ASAP to reschedule your appointment. You will not be charged a late cancellation fee to reschedule your appointment to a later date. 
  • I keep a clean and safe environment as part of my daily sanitation procedures, including: washing and disinfecting all linens, tools, equipment, door knobs, hard surfaces and public areas, bathroom, treatment room, floors, furniture, and supplies.
  • I have put several additional precautionary measures in place, as the health and safety for ALL is priority. 
  • If you have symptoms of COVID-19, or any cold or flu virus, please call me to reschedule your appointment.
  • I want to assure you that I have strict daily protocols for cleaning and sanitizing my office and tools as part of regular operations. I have added additional precautions and feel confident in providing you a clean, well-maintained healing space.

What I Ask of You in Response to COVID-19 for in-person sessions

  •  I recommend getting testing 4 days prior to our scheduled appointment, or any time that you may have been exposed to COVID. There are free testing sites throughout the LA area.  
  • To ensure the safety and well-being of myself and other clients, I ask clients who are sick, have been sick in the last two weeks or have close family members who are sick to reschedule your appointments to a later date.
  • Please bring a mask with you for your appointments.  If you do not have one, I will provide one for you.
  • Upon arrival, you will receive a temperature check. Please also sanitize your hands (sanitizer provided) upon entering with the provided hand sanitizer.
  • Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment if they are not getting a service.
  • I understand that this is a stressful time, and I am happy to be flexible with you. I ask that if you need to reschedule, to call as soon as you can. By rescheduling your appointments, you are contributing to the health of me, other clients, and our community at large. I appreciate you for doing so! 
  • For Sound Baths in person, please bring your own face mask, yoga mat, eye mask, blankets, and anything that you need to be comfortable for relaxing during the sound bath. Participants are also required to maintain a 6 foot distance from other participants.

Home Visits/On Location

  • There is a fee for travel for outside of Santa Fe, NM or more than 30 minute commute. 
  • Many of my clients have a massage table set up at home. If you do not, I'm happy to bring a treatment table for an additional fee. If you have any questions, please ask!
  • For private in-person sound baths, please contact Stephanie for rates based on sound tools used.

Standard of Behavior + Ethics

  • I reserve the right to deny anyone service. I uphold a professional environment + practice. I do not entertain or tolerate any inappropriate or oppressive communication or behavior of any kind towards myself or any person.  

HIPAA

  • Your privacy is of the utmost important to me. I abide by the HIPAA Laws + Practices.

Children

  • Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them before receiving services. Clients that are 17 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the treatment room for the entire length of the service.

COVID-19

Virtual Sessions are being offered at this time. When Stephanie begins seeing clients in person, policies and procedures will be in place that will honor the health and safety of all, whether for individual or group sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

What do I wear for a VST or Reiki Session?

Wear comfortable clothing for a session. Clients are fully clothed for the session. Clothing that is not restrictive is recommended to allow for the most relaxation.  

How should I care for myself after a Sound Therapy Session?

  • First: Drink lots of water. 
  • Post session, I encourage clients to write down or journal any insights, inspiration, visions, physical/emotional/spiritual sensations or experiences, memories that popped up, etc. that may have come through during our session. This self-reflection can be immensely helpful on your healing/self-care path. 
  • You may experience drowsiness, tired or lethargy after your session. This is because your brain has shifted to a more relaxed state. On the other hand, you may feel energized. When our mind and body are given the opportunity to reset, we can experience bursts of energy and inspiration. The vibration and shifting of energy can also act as a jump-start to our system.
  • If you’ve experience therapeutic bowls on the body, lymphatic fluid has been stimulated. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. It is important to continue to drink water to maintain hydration as toxins are flushed. 
  • In the hours following a session, you may notice frequent urination, watery eyes, or runny notes. These are all symptoms of waste substances leaving the body. Again, drink water to maintain hydration as toxins are flushed. 
  • You may experience slight muscle soreness. This is an after-effect of the vibrations and should pass by the next day. 
  • It may feel different to take up space in your body after a session. I encourage gentle stretching to reacquaint how you occupy space in your recalibrated body. For example, you may stand up straighter or feel lighter in parts of your body. 
  • After your session, if you are able, continue to relax. To extend relaxation further, stay hydrated, avoid heavy metals, and strenuous activity.

What is your return policy on purchases and packages?

All sales are final. 

Can I skip the Discovery Session and just book a Coaching Session?

If you are working specifically on coaching, Discovery Sessions are imperative to coaching work. Energy Medicine clients may book coaching sessions for deeper integration of energetic work.

Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?

Yes! Please send a message or email and we can discuss evening/weekend availability.

Do you do group work or events?

Absolutely! Please send a message with your request and we can discuss further.
